Microgenetic design

Microgenetic design is a method of scientific examination in developmental psychology in which the same children are studied repeatedly over a short period of time.[1] In contrast to cross-sectional and longitudinal designs which provide broad outlines of the process of change, microgenetic designs provide an in-depth at children's behavior while it is changing.
